The women and masters squad from Reading Rowing Club attended their next summer regatta in the British Rowing timetable. Once again we see more great results from our rising stars!

The Women’s Tier 2 earn themselves a victory!

The Women’s Tier 2 eight had a successful day of racing over the 1000 meter course in Twickenham. The crew has been training well over the season thanks to our talented coaches Paul Coldwell and Ewen Gillies.

1st heat - race against Putney Town

The women’s eight started their day with a strong first round - winning against Putney Town rowing club!

2nd heat - race against Warwick University

Next round they took on a university crew and won by an impressive 2 lengths at the finish.

The final heat - race against St Peters College - REGATTA VICTORY!!

The last race was a side by side sprint against St Peters College. Our crew continued to push through and finished by Winning 2/3 of a length!

Overall this is a great stepping stone for the Tier 2 squad and they have more races to look forward to this summer

The Masters also bring home shiny pots!

The Masters C coxed four crew also had a great victory at the Regatta! They raced a straight final against Kingston and won by 3/4 length!

This is no surprise as the masters have been training consistently all season! We look forward to seeing more results from the masters soon!
