The juniors made their second trip to Dorney in as many weeks as they raced Ball Cup with six crews entered.
Following their success at Junior Sculling Regatta the week before, the J14 2x. pairing of Guy Hutchins and Nathan May continued their form to take home the J14 title again. Having found success in the double both boys made it two wins from two races as they won the J14 and J13 1x. titles respectively. This pairing will certainly be one to watch come Reading Amateur and Brit Champs.
There was a further gold for Ollie Threlfall and Sophie Lazenby who won WJ13 2x. Lazenby later added a silver in the WJ13 1x. to make is a successful opening weekend for the young sculler.
The crew of George Lauchlan and Charlie Williams, looked to have built on the experience at the Junior Sculling Regatta to pick up a bronze medal in the J15 2x.
